Q: What is a COF?
A: A Circle of Friends (COF):
1. Is a group of people who meet together regularly for the purpose of developing a deeper relationship with God and each other.
2. Is more then just a ministry; it is the fundamental building block for all parts of our church.
3.Gives us a structure for our church vision which is SCS “Sharing Christ with a lost world, Connecting People and Serving Others in our community”.
Q: Who are COF’s for?
A: Whether you’re brand-new to Gloucester or you’ve been coming for years, a COF is a great next step for anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with God and others through relationships.
Q: What is a typical COF meeting like?
A: Each COF is unique, but generally all groups have some social time with snacks and conversation up front, followed by a time of study and prayer. The meeting will last somewhere around 1 &1/2 to 2 hours.
Q: Where do COF’s typically meet?
A: Usually in the leader’s home.
