You’ve heard it! I’ve heard it! More times than we’d like:
“If ever our nation needs prayer it’s now.”
We have shed the blood of millions of innocent lives and redefined God’s definition of marriage. In truth, America deserved God’s judgment (Romans 3:23). But as the elders of Israel pleaded with God to have mercy on Israel and forgive her sins, because they DID NOT shed innocent blood, we are going to do the same on January 26, 2020.
Prayer Ministries, Inc., Choices of the Heart and numerous churches and pro-life organizations will be conducting an Atonement for the Nation service. We would love for you to be one of the Churches that will conduct this service.
Deuteronomy 21: 6-12
6 Then all the elders of the town nearest the body shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley, 7 and they shall declare: “Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it done. 8 Accept this atonement for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, Lord, and do not hold your people guilty of the blood of an innocent person.” Then the bloodshed will be atoned for, 9 and you will have purged from yourselves the guilt of shedding innocent blood, since you have done what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

THE GOAL
The goal is that each local church would use the template/Order of Service provided. Where possible, other than the Keynote Speaker (Abby Johnson), the local church would provide for each component of the service. However, if that is not possible, Prayer Ministries, Inc., will provide a CD or DVD where needed.
PRAYER INTO ACTION
At the close of the service, ideally, a local Pro-life organization would be available to pray with those who have been touched by abortion in any way, and if possible, receive an offering for their work to rescue babies from termination.
PURPOSE
To humble ourselves, seek God’s face, repent of our sins and that of our nation, hence bringing God’s mercy and favor, not His judgment and punishment.
